Florence Duomo is located in the heart of Florence, in the iconic Piazza del Duomo.

How to reach it:

  • By bus: Several city buses stop near Piazza del Duomo (check local ATAF bus lines).

  • On foot: The Duomo is easily reachable by walking from most central locations in Florence.

Opening hours

  • Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore: Monday to Saturday, from 10:15am to 4:45pm

  • Brunelleschi’s Dome: Every day, from 8:15am to 6:45pm (last entrance at 6pm)

  • Giotto’s Bell Tower: Every day, from 8:15am to 6:45pm

  • Baptistery of San Giovanni: Every day, from 8:15am to 10:15am and from 11:15am to 6:45pm

  • Opera del Duomo Museum: Every day, from 8:30am to 7:30pm (last entrance at 6:30pm)

  • Crypt of Santa Reparata: Monday to Saturday, from 10:15am to 4:45pm
